The mango international market is supplied by several countries. Brazil is among the major exporters with Mexico, Philippines, Pakistan and India. Mango is a fruit whose in natura exportation exceeds 10% of the Brazilian production. This paper analyses the international market of mango and shows that the period of national production is one of the major factors that allows the Brazilian competitiveness in this market. The evidences show that the evolution of the Brazilian participation in the international market of mango, although considerable, can not be sustainable due to decreasing or absence of market windows, in a near future . The procedure of this work was based on survey and analysis of data available at FAO and internet. Also, valuable contributions were obtained from Symposiums, Congresses, Technical Meetings and Workshops.
