This article aimed to analyze the most relevant papers published on asymmetry in price transmission in agricultural and livestock markets from 2015 to 2020. A systematic review of the literature was carried out to achieve the proposed objective using the Ordinatio method. The method allows the selection of the most relevant articles on the topic, which has many studies published in the markets of interest. Thus, 12 articles were selected according to the relevance of the journal in which the article was published, the number of citations and the year of publication. The systematic analysis of the literature of the selected articles shows that most of them are applied to the market in the United States, deal with the meat market and use the asymmetric error correction method. Also, the type of asymmetry investigated is mostly of the vertical type and most of the results suggest evidence of asymmetry in the transmission of prices. It is suggested to apply in national markets with more recent methodologies
