The study aimed to analyze the intensity of receipt of the Agroamigo Program by its beneficiaries, in the areas where Banco do Nordeste do Brasil (BNB) operates, that is, in all the states of the Northeast and the northern of the states of Espírito Santo and Minas Gerais. Information available from the BNB (2005 to 2022) and from the 2017 Agricultural Census was used. Through the Generalized Propensity Score (GPS) method, in which the treatment measure is the proportion of producers who accessed Agroamigo in each municipality , it was possible to conclude that the amount of credit accessed by men; number of Agroamigo operations; the area of the rural establishment; if associated with cooperatives, are conditions that increase the proportion of Agroamigo obtained by family farmers in the municipalities served. The results also point out that municipalities with more Agroamigo offer have a higher income from agriculture of family farmers benefited by the program.
