Abstract

This article deals with the actions of the Agroamigo microfinance program, in the period 2005-2022 in Pernambuco state’s development regions. The use of a methodology for evaluating the performance of the program for family farming based on environmental sustainability and on-time payment, allowed verifying its adequacy to the client’s needs, with satisfactory results being obtained for the types of productive demands identified by the technical-financial assistance offered. Hence, the perspectives for continuity and expansion of this microfinance policy by the financial agent are seen
