The paper analyzes the connections between the Agroamigo Program and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in eighteen years of the Rural Microfinance Program operation. The conceptual framework involved the theme of microfinance and Agenda 2030. The records of quantities and values by Banco do Nordeste were compiled and analyzed according to gender, sector, purpose, activity and region in the state of Piauí during the period 2005- 2022. The results showed that Agroamigo Program expanded the granting of microcredit, reaching the 224 cities of Piauí in 2022, with women as the main beneficiaries. Rural investment in livestock led the amounts and values operated. The growth was expressive in family farming and decreased in non-agricultural activities in the surveyed period. The direction of credit to municipalities in the semi-arid region advanced from 2015-2022, focusing on projects aligned with the sustainability of agroecosystems. The set of information examined by Agroamigo Program supports the occurrence of associations with the SDGs aimed at ending poverty and hunger, achieving gender equality with the empowerment of women, promoting economic growth and decent work in favor of sustainable development in Piauí
