Abstract

This paper presents an economic valuation of the "Constitutional Fund for Northeast Brazil Financing (FNE)", by means of comparision between the destination that the Northeast Bank gave to the Fund's industrial budget and the technical recommendations inserted in "Intersectoral Relations and the Key Sectors of the Northeasten Economy" and "Industrial Complex in the Northeasten Economy". In the end, it concludes that the majority of the industrial budget was applied in the Northeasten key sectors and in the consolidation of the regional industrial complex, as recommended by the technical studies.
