Abstract

This paper analysis the price transmission relationship of Palmer mango to grower, produced in São Francisco River Valley for the domestic market, with the price of mango exported to the European Union. For this purpose, data from CEPEA / USP were used both for the domestic market price and for the export price, collected since of 2012 january to 2020 december. The methodology used was the estimation of Vector Auto-regressive Model (VAR), followed by variance decomposition and the Granger causality test.
