THE COMPETITIVE CAPACITY OF TABLE GRAPE AND MANGO EXPORTING COMPANIES FROM THE PETROLINA-PE/JUAZEIRO-BA POLE FROM 2009-2018

This article seeks to understand the vision and the competitive behavior of table grape and mango companies from the Petrolina-PE/Juazeiro-BA hub in an internationalization process. Since this region has been highlighted in its production of fruit, being responsible for 98% of the exports of table grapes and 87% of the mango exports from Brazil. This is an exploratory study, which begins with bibliographic research, of inductive approach, using as analysis information gathered through the application of a questionnaire to managers of companies established in the region. The study concludes that the exporting companies in the Pole have already been established for more than 10 years, as to competitiveness, they work in an interconnected way, being possible to identify cooperation and competition among them, signaling the competitive potential. Some suggestions were signaled, such as: new partnerships, investment in knowledge, advancement in new research, dynamism, insertion of new technologies and the introduction of innovation processes in the agribusiness stages
